He was a great player and deserved a spot in the springboks, most were calling for it but they had something against him so after he eventually got it he said what he said. If you can look past political stuff and family issues whatever they may be he has actually been serving food in person to homeless people on the street in PE for years now
Read John Smit's autobiography - he made it clear that a player with Watson's attitude would have been detrimental to the Bok team ethos. He was not a team player, and you cannot be a "great player" in a team sport if you lack that quality.

Underrated video. A lot of thought went into this. The lyrics match up to the action so well. "Slot machine" while he's slotting a goal. "Long", "turn", "on and on" while he's doing exactly that. A great video for a great player.
